THE PAXMAN TEAM
Paxman has always had a reputation as the first place to get advice on all aspects of the horn, and this is something that we are constantly building on. When you visit the showroom, the first people you will encounter will be Steve Flower, Jonathan Calvert or Martyn Bayliss, all of them professional horn players, who will provide an unequalled level of expertise.
Steve Flower (Sales Manager)
Steve studied the horn with Tony Halstead and at Trinity College of Music with Gordon Carr. After leaving Trinity in 1990 he worked as a freelance musician based in London, but working throughout the UK and abroad, including a period with the Israel Symphony Orchestra in Tel Aviv. He continues to freelance whilst becoming more involved with Paxman where he was appointed Sales Manager in December 2007.

Jonathan Calvert (Showroom)
Jonathan, the token northerner at Paxman, studied horn with Lindsey Stoker and Frank Lloyd at the Royal Northern College of Music while on the joint course with the University of Manchester. He now freelances throughout the UK as an orchestral and chamber music player, and is a member of the Phoenix Brass Quintet.

Martyn Bayliss (Showroom)
Martyn studied the horn at the Royal Academy of Music with Derek Taylor and Andrew Clark. He is currently a member of the Carl Rosa Touring Opera Company and works a great deal with many of the UK's leading orchestras. He has recorded with the Hallé Orchestra and more recently with the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra. He has had trials with Opera North, the Hallé Orchestra and more recently with the Scottish Opera.

Greta joined Paxman in early 2000, after working for companies in the fashion and advertising industries.
